Who Are Hattie’s Nannies?

Hattie’s Nannies is a recruitment agency specialising in the placement of nannies, maternity nannies and mother’s helps with families throughout Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire.

Managing Director, Elaine Hunn has a wealth of experience from both the childcare industry and business world. Elaine has a very strong commercial background, and is experienced in all aspects of business and recruitment management. She has a detailed knowledge of the childcare industry from Nannies, to Mother’s helps and Maternity Nannies and has a particular strength in recruitment of "the right person for the right job". She has been involved in the childcare business since 2001, and is a "working Mum", so she can chat to you at length about almost any aspect of childcare.

If the whole world of childcare is new to you, we are happy to explain how it all works, and the pros and cons of all the different options, so do call us any time.

Why Use Hattie’s Nannies?

We offer a personal and friendly service. You will not be passed from one person to another which means that your consultant will know your brief in detail and will assist you throughout your enquiry.

If preferred, Hattie’s Nannies will pay a home visit to the family. Experience shows that the better a consultant knows and understands the needs of their client families, the better the resulting match with the nanny will be. We aim to forge long lasting and rewarding relationships between our clients and our child carers.

Where our clients and their children are concerned we take
no chances:

  • Every candidate is interviewed at length by Elaine; we do not simply
    ‘farm out’ CVs
  • We check identification, qualifications and references for ALL candidates.
  • Every candidate is ‘police checked’ by the Criminal Records Bureau, OR if they are new to the UK, a police check from their home country is required.
  • We have no registration fee for childcare placements.
  • Highly competitive fees upon placement of the child carer
